How do we get started?
First, contact me using my contact form. We will find a 1 hour time slot for your child to visit me or meet online for an initial session. In this session I will get to you know your child and complete some brief assessments. Booking an initial session does not mean you must commit to continued lessons. If you would like to continue after the initial session, then we will register your child for a spot in my weekly schedule.
How many sessions do I have to book?
After the initial session, then we can plan your child's future schedule. You can sign up for as many or as few sessions as you need. My sessions are typically one hour a week, once or twice a week. Sessions continue on a rolling basis until cancelled with 4 weeks notice.
Why should I sign up my child for private lessons?
Your child will receive explicit, direct instruction from a certified and experienced teacher. The curriculum your child will be taught is tailored to his or her needs. There are no other children competing for my attention or other children's needs taking away from your child's learning. Your child will get the boost her or she needs!
Where do lessons take place?
English Explorers take place in my home office in Dornach. I also offer online Zoom lessons for students worldwide.
